We come to you

meet you.

We can meet patients and families at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other care facilities, subject to visitor rules and access approval.

Homes & apartments

A notary visit at your home, apartment, or a family member’s residence. Share the unit number and any building or gate instructions when booking.

04 / AT WORK

Offices & businesses

Meet at your workplace, business, or an agreed office location. Let us know the business name, suite, floor, and check-in instructions.

05 / WHILE TRAVELING

Hotels

We meet in an agreed public area, such as the lobby or breakfast area. Hotel appointments are not held in guest rooms.

06 / COURTS & PUBLIC PLACES

Courts & courthouses

Meet at a courthouse or another agreed public location, subject to building access and security rules. Confirm the meeting spot with us in advance. We provide notary services, not court representation or document filing.

Planning a visit to a hospital or care facility?

Before booking, confirm visitor access with the facility. Tell us the facility name, room or unit, best time to visit, and any check-in requirements. Have the signer’s identification and full paperwork ready, and arrange any extra witnesses the document provider requires.

If there are questions about the signer’s ability to understand the paperwork or sign willingly, email us before booking so the notary can review the request. An appointment does not guarantee that every document can be notarized.

Tell us what the paperwork asks for.

These are examples of requests we can review. A document’s name does not tell us whether it can be notarized or which service it needs. If you are unsure, ask the person who prepared or will receive it.

We provide notary services, not legal advice or document preparation. For a Georgia real estate closing, coordinate with your closing attorney before booking. The attorney must control the closing from beginning to end; phone-only availability does not replace that role.

NO NOTARY KNOW-HOW NEEDED

We’ll take it
one step at a time.

Email us ↗
  1. Tell us about your papers.

Share what needs signing, who will sign, and where you’d like to meet.

  2. Review the visit and price.

Travel and applicable service charges are separate from notarial fees. We’ll explain the estimated total before confirmation. Review fees and appointment policies ↗

  3. Get ready to meet your notary.

Have the paperwork and identification ready. Follow any document-provider instructions about witnesses and signing.

A LITTLE PREPARATION GOES A LONG WAY

Bring your papers.
We’ll bring the care.

Have everyone ready.
Everyone whose signature we will notarize must meet the notary in person. Tell us ahead of time about any signer under 18.

Bring identification.
Have a current government-issued photo ID ready for review. Email us before booking if a signer does not have one or you are unsure what to bring.

Have the full paperwork ready.
Bring all pages and follow the document provider’s instructions. Do not leave required information unfinished. If signing must be witnessed, wait for the notary.

Arrange any extra witnesses.
Ask the document provider whether extra witnesses are needed, how many, and who may serve. You are responsible for bringing them unless another arrangement is confirmed.

Tell us how to find you.
Include the apartment or suite, building and floor, gate or door instructions, and facility name. Hotel meetings take place in an agreed public area.

Confirm special arrangements.
Tell us about printing, access rules, or attorney instructions before the visit. We will confirm what our notary will bring.

CLEAR PRICES. NO GUESSWORK.

Your visit.
Your quote.

Review the price and appointment policies before you confirm. We explain travel and service charges separately from the notarial fee.

NOTARIAL SERVICE

$2 per completed notarial act

This is the fee for each notary service actually completed. It is separate from the cost of coming to you. A page, document, or signer count alone does not determine the total.

MOBILE SERVICE & TRAVEL

Starting at $45

The travel price depends on the driving distance and meeting location. Your quote will show the travel charge for your appointment.

APPOINTMENT CHARGES

Based on your visit

Weekend service: $40.
Evening appointments at 6 PM or later: $35.
Same-day service: $30.
Federal holiday service: $50.
When a holiday falls on a weekend, only the $50 holiday fee applies; the $40 weekend fee is not added. The evening fee can also apply. Your itemized quote will show the charges for your visit.

Georgia’s authorized notarial fee is $2 per act. Read the GSCCCA fee guidance ↗

Booking and payment

Booking opens November 1, 2026. Until then, please email us with questions. Once booking opens, online booking and payment will take place through NotaryCentral. For a phone booking, we will send a secure payment link after the call. Your appointment is not confirmed until the booking requirements are met and the required payment is received.

The quote is based on the services you request. If you need extra services or additional notarizations at the appointment, we will explain any price change before performing them.

If you need to cancel

Cancellation charges apply to the quoted travel and applicable scheduled appointment surcharges. They do not include notarizations that were not performed.

When cancellation charges apply
When you cancelWhat you owe
At least 24 hours before the appointment, before the notary leavesNo cancellation fee.
Less than 24 hours before, before the notary leaves for your appointment50% of the scheduled eligible charges.
After the notary leaves for your appointment, or a no-show100% of the scheduled eligible charges.

Example: If your eligible travel and appointment charges total $100, the 50% cancellation charge is $50 and the 100% charge is $100. Unperformed notarial services are excluded.

Running late or not ready?

Please email thegeorgianotarydudes@gmail.com. A no-show begins 15 minutes after the scheduled start time or the notary’s arrival, whichever is later.

Example: For a 2:00 PM appointment, if the notary arrives at 2:05 PM, the no-show threshold is 2:20 PM.

If the appointment proceeds with a wait, waiting time is $15 for each completed 15-minute period. Waiting-time charges do not apply to an appointment treated as a no-show.

If the appointment cannot be completed

If we arrive but cannot complete the appointment, travel and applicable scheduled service fees still apply. You will only be charged for notarizations we actually complete.

Please check identification, signer attendance, witnesses, and paperwork before the visit so we can help you avoid an unfinished appointment.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Let’s clear
a few things up.

What if I don’t know what service I need?

That’s okay—let’s work through it together. You do not need to know the notary words to get started.

Answer a few simple questions. We’ll explain which service your instructions may describe and what to ask next. This guide explains services; it does not choose the legally required service for your papers.

What will my visit cost?

Let’s break the price into simple parts: the notary service, the trip to you, and any extra appointment charges.

This guide explains our current fees. It does not check dates, holidays, driving miles, or availability. Your travel price and final quote still need confirmation. No personal details or payment are collected here.

Do I need extra witnesses?

A witness is someone who watches you sign and may also sign a witness line on your paper. An extra witness is a different role from the notary.

A simple example

You are signing your papers. Your instructions say, “Bring two witnesses.” That means arranging for two other people who meet those instructions to attend. Do not assume the notary counts as one of those two people.

The rules depend on your papers and the signing requirements. This guide helps you check what was requested; it does not decide the legal witness requirements. No names or personal information are needed.

What should I have ready?

Let’s make a simple preparation list for your visit. Choose your answers below—we’ll show what to have ready and what still needs checking.

No names, addresses, or documents are needed. Your answers stay on this page and clear when you reload or leave it. This is a preparation guide, not a booking or approval to notarize.

Do you visit hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living communities?

Yes, subject to availability and facility access. Confirm visitor rules with staff, and tell us the facility name, room or unit, and any check-in instructions. Have identification, paperwork, and any required witnesses ready. Email us if the signer may need special arrangements.

Can you meet me at a hotel?

Yes. Choose an agreed public area, such as the lobby or breakfast area, and give us the hotel name and address. We do not conduct hotel appointments in guest rooms.

What happens if I cancel or we cannot finish?

Choose a situation below. We’ll explain which charges may apply in simple terms.

This explains our appointment policies. Any amount owed depends on your actual quote and what happened. It does not cancel or change an appointment.

How do I book an appointment?

Booking opens November 1, 2026. Our appointment calendar is closed until launch. For now, choose “Email us” if you have a question about your notary needs. An email inquiry does not confirm an appointment.
